Description of the HiDEC Event
HiDEC FORUM 2017
- wondering about hospitality -
Students from the 3rd year Bachelor and the Master Preparatory year of BBI Luxembourg - School for International Hospitality and Tourism Business, are pleased to invite you to attend our event: “HiDEC FORUM – wondering about hospitality”.
The acronym HiDEC stands for Hospitality Innovation Discovery Education and Culture, which are the clear values used in organising this event.
HiDEC FORUM will be repeated on an annual basis and for the 2017 edition the theme chosen is “Entrepreneurship and Future Trends in the Hospitality industry”.
The whole event consists of two main parts: a professional conference inviting several speakers and panelists, followed by BBI Luxembourg’s Annual Food Festival.
The aim of this event is to provide an outstanding platform to hospitality students as well as professionals to discuss industry trends and innovations, to share their experiences, but also to celebrate diversity by tasting the food and drinks from different cultures around the globe.
FOOD FESTIVAL
Food Festivals have been a sound tradition at BBI.
It is the perfect occasion for our students, from diferent and worldwide nationalities, to represent their home country. Within their groups they will have to cook for the country that they are representing. The students will also have to have representative drinks and dress.
